The Dream
For a long time, we had a vision of turning our leased lands into a beautiful, productive farmland. However, the practicalities of managing a farm from Chennai seemed daunting. Managing the farm remotely was not easy. Labor issues were particularly troublesome; some workers would either not work effectively or leave abruptly, causing delays and frustration. The task of irrigating the coconut farm was especially difficult, and we realized that traditional farming methods would not suffice.

He proposed a comprehensive plan to automate our farm, starting with planting a coconut plantation and installing an advanced irrigation system.
The Transformation
With Mobitech’s guidance, we embarked on a six-day journey to transform our land. Here’s a step-by-step look at what we accomplished:
- Deep Ploughing and Land Leveling: We began by preparing the soil, using deep ploughing and a rotavator to level the land.
- Drip Irrigation System: We installed a state-of-the-art drip irrigation system, along with an irrigation motor and automation equipment.
- Planting Coconut Trees: Within six days, we completed the setup and planted the coconut trees.
- Automation Setup: Over the next six days, we fine-tuned the automation system, ensuring it was ready for efficient operation.
A New Era of Farming
Now, we can irrigate our farm from Chennai, monitoring and managing everything virtually. Each plot receives 15 minutes of irrigation, ensuring that all crops are healthy and thriving. Our farm operates without the need for hired labor, thanks to the fully automated system installed by Mobitech.
