Raju in Kavindapadi. Spread across 4 acres, the farm depends on a borewell as its primary water source for irrigation.

    Before automation, irrigation required manually opening and closing valves while monitoring water distribution across different sections of the farm. This process consumed valuable time, increased labor requirements, and made it difficult to maintain a consistent irrigation schedule.

    Arecanut plants require regular watering for healthy growth and better productivity. Delayed or uneven irrigation can affect crop development and reduce water-use efficiency. The farmer wanted a dependable solution that would simplify irrigation management while conserving water.

    Why the Farmer Chose Valve Automation

    To improve irrigation efficiency, the farmer chose a Wired Valve Automation System. The primary goal was to automate irrigation, reduce manual work, and ensure uniform water distribution throughout the 4-acre arecanut plantation.
