    Challenges Before Installing the Automatic Irrigation System

    Efficient irrigation is essential for maintaining healthy arecanut plantations and achieving better yields. This Automatic Irrigation System project was successfully completed for Mr. Mani in Bhavani. Spread across 10 acres, the farm depends on a well as its primary water source for irrigation.

    Before automation, irrigation involved manually operating valves across different sections of the farm. Managing irrigation over a large plantation consumed considerable time, required continuous labor, and made it difficult to provide water consistently to every part of the field.

    Arecanut crops require timely irrigation to maintain healthy growth and maximize productivity. Delayed watering or uneven water distribution can reduce crop performance and lead to unnecessary water wastage. The farmer wanted a reliable solution that would simplify irrigation while improving overall water management.

    Why the Farmer Chose an Automatic Irrigation System

    To improve irrigation efficiency, the farmer selected a Wired Automatic Irrigation System. The main objective was to automate irrigation, reduce manual labor, and ensure uniform water distribution across the entire 10-acre arecanut plantation.

    The wired automation system provides reliable communication between the irrigation controller and field valves, ensuring dependable operation and accurate irrigation scheduling throughout the farm.

    Mobitech Wireless successfully completed the Automatic Irrigation System installation using the DCON AG SMART Wired Irrigation Automation System.
