Job Description:

As a Field Surveyor at Mobitech, you will play a crucial role in gathering essential data for the planning, design, and implementation of irrigation automation systems. You will be responsible for conducting on-site surveys, collecting accurate information, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of our cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. On-Site Surveys:
    • Conduct thorough field surveys to assess the existing irrigation infrastructure and environmental conditions.
    • Utilize surveying tools and equipment to gather precise measurements and data.
  2. Data Collection:
    • Collect and document relevant data on soil types, topography, water sources, and other factors affecting irrigation efficiency.
    • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate data interpretation.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with farmers, landowners, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and concerns.
    • Provide clear communication on survey findings and proposed irrigation solutions.
  4. Mapping and Documentation:
    • Create detailed maps and reports based on survey data for use in the design and planning phases.
    • Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the survey process.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure the quality and reliability of collected data by conducting regular checks and validations.
    • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
  6. Adaptability:
    • Demonstrate flexibility to work in diverse geographical locations and adapt to varying environmental conditions.
    • Willingness to travel extensively as per project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering(EEE, ECE, E&I and any electrical domain), or a related field.
  • Proven experience in field surveys and data collection is more advantage.
  • Familiarity with irrigation systems and agricultural practices.
  • Proficient in using surveying tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
